A blog you need to read right now: “Chicago Carless – My off-road journey to Judaism”

I’ve been reading Michael Doyle’s fantastic blog: CHICAGO CARLESS lately, and am really impressed by his writing. He writes about various subjects – there’s a lot to read through, but it’s all pretty awesome.

Doyle who describes himself as a Reform Jew born to Roman Catholic parents writes in length about his conversion to Judaism, and different topics and issues he runs into (i.e. does he keep Kosher? Does he wear a yarmulke?).

He’s also an expert on urban issues like public transportation – in fact his essays on the CTA are what drew me into his writing.

Doyle’s pretty prolific and is sought after for his thoughts.

An amazing blog.
